Combining stunning sound with a discreet lifestyle-friendly design, the new M2 soundbase from Q Acoustics is the easiest and most affordable way to elevate the thin sound on your TV – without disrupting the home interior. Delivering 180-degree room-filling sonics and and a powerful built-in subwoofer for the bass sounds, the M2’s immersive audio performance will enhance the home movie watching and music listening experience.
Compact and versatile, the M2 soundbase can blend seamlessly into any living space especially where space is at a premium. Whether discreetly placing a TV on top of the base (maximum weight of 25kg) or sliding it into a small or large cabinet, a three-mode equaliser switch at the rear will adapt the bass levels to suit the M2’s surroundings and produce the most effective sound.
As today’s TV designs get slimmer high-quality sound is sacrificed. The M2 remedies this by using Balance Mode Radiator speaker technology to deliver a 180-degree wide dispersing audio. Resulting in a bigger sweet spot, no matter where a person sits in the room, they will hear the same detailed, rich and dynamic sound.
A powerful down-firing dual voice-coil subwoofer is built into the compact, low-profile cabinet delivering deep but punchy low-end sounds. To add even more depth and weight a MoviEQ™ function can be activated to emphasise the bass further and enhance movie soundtracks and video game action. To eliminate any unwanted vibrations caused by the full bass sounds the sturdy wooden cabinet provides robust damping and bracing.
Q Acoustics rich heritage in producing class-leading loudspeakers means the M2 can also be used as a music system in the room. With Bluetooth® aptX built-in, music fans can wirelessly stream their favourite tunes in high-quality audio from a smartphone, tablet or laptop while support for NFC allows easy one touch pairing of devices.
From the design to set-up everything about the M2 is user-friendly: just plug-in and play. Connect the M2 via the HDMI ARC socket on the TV and users can conveniently control the sound via the TV’s remote control.
The Q Acoustics M2 soundbase is available in September, priced at £299 (inc. VAT).
